Volunteer
Volunteers can contribute in various ways, it's all up to you! You can sign up to chair an event, or help with set up/clean up, run a concession stand, distribute products purchased from fundraisers, etc. Spend as much, or as little, time as you can - and your help is ALWAYS appreciated!

Chair
The PTO cannot exist without volunteers, and it cannot exist without chairs! Responsibilities of a chairperson can vary from event to event, but typically they are:
Plan the Event: Make a schedule and list of things to do for the event.
Manage Money: Create a budget and keep track of expenses to make sure you don’t spend too much.
Organize a Team: Get volunteers to help and tell them what jobs they will do.
Handle Details: Take care of things like choosing a place for the event, and ordering food if needed.
Spread the Word: Advertise the event using posters, social media, and telling people in the community.
Find Sponsors: Look for local businesses that can help pay for the event or donate supplies.
Communicate: Be the main contact for anyone involved, like vendors and volunteers, to answer questions.
Run the Event: Make sure everything goes smoothly on the day of the event, from setup to cleanup.
It's important to note that the board is here to support you however we can!
Donate
Make a tax-deductible donation via cash or check
Check with your employer regarding donations - some employers will match your donation, or will even donate money for any time that you spend volunteering!

Box Tops for Education
Use the app to scan the Box Tops for Education coupons on specially marked participating products and raise money for our school!
Recycle
Got sneakers that are old, worn, or just outgrown? Send them in to help us raise money and keep our planet clean!
The GotSneakers program will donate to the Berea PTO for every pair of sneakers we send them, based on quality, style, and brand. Please note, they do not accept sport-specific footwear (such as cleats) or boots, heals, or sandals.

Fundraisers
Did you know that School Pictures raise funds for the PTO? There are so many ways to fundraise for the PTO, we can't list them all here. But keep an eye out for flyers in your Thursday folders!
